  Hi Everyone! Wow, I've really been slacking on posting new information! Good thing Daddy stepped in and took over for a little bit. We're getting into the final stretch. There's only one month left!
  
  This little one is growing like crazy. He/she is around the 4.5/5 lb. mark right now. Things must be getting cramped in there because the type of movement has really changed. Now I usually have a baby butt sticking out of the side of my belly.
  
  Big brother Tater has been very protective lately. He won't leave mom's side. He even follows me to the bathroom (which seems like every 5 minutes). Baby and Tater had their first contact about 2 weeks ago. Tater came to bed to lay down by Mom. He was laying with his butt up against my belly and appearantly the baby didn't like that. Within a minute the baby wound up a good kick and gave Tater a good one. Baby won the battle because Tater shot up and left.
  
  Baby got some really great gifts at the shower last month. There's only a few things we have to get yet and we're ready to roll. Daddy was a saint yesterday and completely cleaned out Baby's room and sorted out all of the clothes and toys. We're going to pick up the crib & dresser this weekend & that should complete the nursery.
  
  It's hard to believe that Christmas is next weekend already! This year was really different for me. Usually we shop until we drop the day after Thanksgiving. We'll start around 5 a.m. and go until 4 or 5 p.m. Well, carrying around a little extra baggage really did me in this year because my "drop time" was around noon. We still got everything done, just not in one day like I used to.
  
  Well, we're looking forward to seeing all of over the holidays! We hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hopefully we'll be contacting everyone real soon with some news!!

  WHAT THE DADDY HAS TO SAY:
  Well now it's my turn to write a little in this website. First of all I am by far the most excited, extremely terrified, and over-joyed parent to-be. My wife has been wonderful during this whole period. She has shown tons of motivation, and persistance second to none. This is a whole new era for me, having not been around infants. With Michelle though I know this is going to be a great experience for all.
  
  Now I'd like to thank everyone for putting their two cents in on this website. I can't wait for a time when I can read to what you all wrote.
  Talk about a well loved baby....they don't all get their own website, while still in the womb:-)
  
  Well I better get working on the baby's room. Talk to you all soon.
