  Hi Everyone. Hayden is doing great! He's such a happy boy now that his distractors are out. Next week he's having a procedure done called a Feese. They will add some food coloring or dye to his saliva and then they'll watch were it goes. This isn't as detailed as a swallow study, but it will tell us if he's handeling things properly. If this goes well, he should be able to get some very small amounts of some babyfood to help him prepare for the swallow study. The swallow study hasn't been scheduled yet, we'll have a better idea of when that will be once we make sure everything is okay with the Feese, and once we see how he accepts the little amounts of baby food.
  
  Last week Piggly Wiggly held a Benefit Brat Fry and Bake Sale for Hayden and it was very succcessful. He even made an appearance for a little while and got lots of attention. We were all amazed at the support we had for the event, and it was such a great day!
  
  Sorry that Brian and I are not updating as much as we should be, I'll have to load more recent pictures as well because he looks completely different since his jaw distraction.
