  Hello again. Here's a quick update on what's new with Hayden. He'll be having his hip surgery on Monday, September 10th (that's only a week and a half way!). It will be a little more invasive than what we orginally had planned. Because his hip is "another time zone" (that's a quote from his orthopedic surgeon...he's great) once it's put into it's socket, the thigh bone is going to have to be cut and shortened. Plus they will most likely be going into the other leg and cutting some muscle. He'll be in the hospital for 2 or 3 days.
  
  After the surgery is complete Hayden will be in a full-body cast, from his nipple line to his ankles, for twelve weeks. This will take some getting used to and we hope the time goes by really fast. At least the little guy will be out of it in time for Christmas this year. Halloween will be another story though, so we're going to have to see what we can come up with! Feel free to share any costume ideas you have!
  
  That's pretty much it in a nutshell. So get those markers ready...he's going to have plenty of places on his cast to sign!
